Being Yourself VS Being Professional

-You can be fun online and you can be professional online. You can actually be both at the same time, believe it or not. I'm really surprised how many people seem to neglect the fact that they are looking for work with the same platforms they are going on rants with and generally just being unpleasant on.

-Every interaction is a touch, not just your emails. We often hear that it takes 7-9 “touches” to land a client. A good friend of mine C.J. Merritt pointed out the importance of realizing what those “touches” are. While some are higher value and more direct (emails and calls) they are also a bit pushier if overdone. Smaller touches like a comment on their social post or even just a like is subtle and can keep you in their mind but shouldn’t be relied on as the sole outreach. Have a healthy mix of both!
